For some time now I have been developing a new line of special editions . These are reproductions of my works on canvas, stretched over frames, and hand-embellished with concrete. This process brings a new dimension, both tactile and visual, to each piece.

Why I use concrete in my artwork
For me, using concrete is symbolic, as it serves as the foundation for my paintings. I appreciate its irregular appearance, its cracks, its roughness , and the intuitive and sensitive way I work with it. Each movement is intentional and takes shape with the canvas. I like the idea of combining the softness of colors and movement with the rough, mineral texture of concrete. This blend creates a dialogue between nature and humanity.
Concrete also adds extra depth to the canvas . By working it by hand, I can play with textures, thicknesses, and movement, and it serves as my foundation. Each touch of concrete is a signature, a unique gesture that makes the paintings vibrant and singular.
Furthermore, the cement used is always leftover from a construction site. In fact, I experimented with this process in 2012, using the leftover cement from a cement mixer at home to spread it over about ten canvases lined up in the garden, and over the years this experiment has been validated so I continue to use it today :)
All of this history creates a connection with this material and makes a difference in my work. That's why I wanted and needed this imperfect volume to be reflected in my reproductions , made possible by printing on canvas. It adds a unique dimension, a middle ground between technical reproduction and the addition of artistic sensibility.

A unique, limited-edition artwork
Each special edition on canvas is limited to only 5 copies per image regardless of its dimensions .
Why so few? Because I want to preserve the authenticity and rarity of each creation :)
After receiving the canvas printed by a specialized art printer, I hand-apply the concrete, making each piece unique, even within the same edition. We discuss together which elements of the painting you wish to emphasize through the use of volume.
This artisanal method guarantees that you do not own a simple reproduction , but a living work, with its reliefs, its nuances and its imperfections that make up all its charm! It is a perfect balance between accessibility and exclusivity .
Furthermore, these special editions are offered at a more affordable price than the originals, while retaining significant artistic value .
