The first story of this painting goes back to 2018, painted in my student room, this painting was like a need to express a lack, the nostalgia of an era. Indeed, I had just left the mountains of Annecy to move to Chambéry. Then it remained in a corner before coming out again this year, a need to make it evolve. The chromatic range and the idea of a mountain range remained the same. However, relief was added as if to assert itself and hands appeared as if to create a rampart, a need to take refuge in the heart of the mountains to find oneself.
